Butter

The way I was hungry with all the food descriptions, yet knowing it was being used for nefarious means…am I the bad person here? Overall, since I knew the story behind the book, it wasn’t all the surprising but I did wish for the ending to change from reality because it would have been more interesting. I did like how it was written and nobody is really the “good guy” in this story.

Additional Notes

• I had previously watched the Rotten Mango YouTube video that discussed this case (in addition to another similar serial killer) so I was familiar with the real story but this book still did a good job of me guessing what was going to happen next.
• The description of food alone is this book is so mouthwatering that I immediately had to make rice and butter as soon as I was listening to it described in the book.
