Will AI change human speech and incorrectly define humanity going forward?
A late night thought I had, similar to having a r/Showerthoughts, was the notion that with the introduction of AI and how quickly people have had to realize that there needs to be specifically written prompts in order to get exactly what type of response they are looking for in AI, how history will be recorded could very well change because of this. The hypothesis I have is that people will start becoming increasingly more conscious of how they are writing their prompts because everything down the how information is asked to be queried is part of the query itself and with AI constantly training itself of data being inputted into it and overall more reliance on it, will AI start thinking this is how humans speak and alter it’s responses to reflect this perceived change.
There is also the concept of how historical records will be reviewed in the future. How will future humanity be able to separate the generated content vs authentic content to know what historically came organically from humans ver what was modified by computer intelligence.
Obviously, all of these ponderings are questions we won’t be able to answer for years to come and all of us will be long gone by then.
